सा विकीर्णा शरैर्भग्ना पपात धरणीतले । गदा मन्त्रौषधबलैर्व्यालीव विनिपातिता ॥ ३-२९-२८
The mace shattered by the arrows of Rama , fell down scattered to pieces on the ground like a female serpent subdued by the force of mantras and medicine. ॥ 3-29-28॥

sA vikIrNA zarairbhagnA papAta dharaNItale । gadA mantrauSadhabalairvyAlIva vinipAtitA ॥ 3-29-28
