कषमयित्वा तु कौरव्यं रणाद उत्तरम आगतम परशशंस ततॊ मत्स्यः शृण्वतः सव्यसाचिनः ।। ४-६४-११ ।।

'Then the king, having soothed the chief of the Kurus, began, in the hearing of Savyasāchin, to extol Uttara, who had returned from the battle.' ।। 4-64-11 ।।

तवया दायादवान अस्मि कैकेयीनन्दिवर्धन तवया मे सदृशः पुत्रॊ न भूतॊ न भविष्यति ।। ४-६४-१२ ।।

'And the king said: ‘O thou who art the delight of the princess of Kekaya, in thee I behold my true son! Never have I had, nor shall I ever have, a son equal to thee!’' ।। 4-64-12 ।।

tavayA dAyAdavAna asmi kaikeyInandivardhana tavayA me sadRzaH putrò na bhUtò na bhaviSyati || 4-64-12 ||

'How, indeed, O child, couldst thou have withstood Karna—he who, loosing a thousand shafts at once, leaves not even a single mark untouched?' ।। 4-64-13 ।।

'O child, how couldst thou have encountered that Bhīṣma—he who hath no equal in the whole world of men, who is as unshakable as the ocean, and as irresistible as the fire of Time itself?' ।। 4-64-14 ।।

'How, again, couldst thou have encountered Droṇa—that foremost of weapon-masters, the preceptor alike of the Vṛṣṇis and the Kauravas, that twice-born sage who may well be deemed the teacher of all Kṣatriyas?' ।। 4-64-15 ।।
