मनुष्यलॊके सकले यस्य तुल्यॊ न विद्यते यः समुद्र इवाक्षॊभ्यः कालाग्निर इव दुःसहः तेन भीष्मेण ते तात कथम आसीत समागमः ॥ ४-६४-१४ ॥
'O child, how couldst thou have encountered that Bhīṣma—he who hath no equal in the whole world of men, who is as unshakable as the ocean, and as irresistible as the fire of Time itself?' ॥ 4-64-14 ॥
