For these hosts of gods enter into You; some, fearful, praise You with joined hands. Having uttered “svasti,” the assemblies of great sages and siddhas extol You with abundant hymns.

The Rudras, Ādityas, Vasus, and Sādhyas; the Viśvedevas; the Aśvins; the Maruts; and the Uṣmapas; the hosts of Gandharvas, Yakṣas, Asuras, and Siddhas—all gaze upon You, astonished.
english translation
Seeing your immense form—possessing many faces and eyes, O mighty-armed one; with many arms, thighs, and feet; with many bellies; and with many formidable fangs—the worlds are deeply shaken, and so am I.
english translation
Seeing you touching the sky, radiant and multicolored, with gaping mouths and blazing, vast eyes—my inner self is profoundly unsettled; I find neither steadiness nor calm, O Viṣṇu.
english translation
Having seen your mouths with formidable fangs, resembling the fire of time and dissolution, I no longer recognize the directions, nor do I find relief. Be gracious, O Lord of the gods, abode of the world.
