But renunciation, O mighty-armed one, is difficult to attain without Yoga. The sage disciplined in Yoga reaches Brahman before long.

english translation

Disciplined in Yoga, with a purified inner self, self-mastered and sense-controlled, one who has become the self of all beings is not tainted even while acting.

english translation

The disciplined knower of reality should think, “I do nothing at all,” even while seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, eating, walking, sleeping, and breathing.

english translation

Speaking, releasing, grasping, and even opening and closing the eyes, he holds fast to the understanding, “The senses operate among the objects of the senses.”

english translation

One who performs actions by placing them in Brahman and abandoning attachment is not tainted by demerit—like a lotus leaf by water.
