One who restrains the organs of action yet sits while the mind dwells on sense-objects—such a person, of deluded understanding, is called a hypocrite, one of false conduct.

english translation

But the one who, controlling the senses by the mind, O Arjuna, undertakes karma-yoga with the organs of action, without attachment—such a person excels.

english translation

Perform the duty prescribed for you; action is superior to inaction. Even the maintenance of your body would not be possible through non-action.

english translation

Except for action performed for the sake of yajña, this world is bound by action. Therefore, O son of Kuntī, perform action for that purpose, free from attachment.

english translation

Having created beings together with yajña, Prajāpati declared at the beginning: ‘By this you shall prosper; let this be for you the fulfiller of desired aims.’
