नस्यादिषु स्थिराक्षीरमधुरैस्तैलमिष्यते । एरण्डपल्लवे मूले त्वचि वाऽऽजं पयः शृतम् ॥११॥

In nasal treatments, clarified butter prepared with sweet milk and stable oils is recommended. Additionally, milk infused with the leaves or roots of the castor plant, or the milk of a goat, can be used for external application on the skin.

The roots of the Kantakari plant, when used in warm applications, are beneficial. Similarly, milk mixed with Saindhava (rock salt), Yastimadhu (licorice), and Pippali (long pepper) is effective for treating the condition.

साम्भश्छागं पयो वाऽपि शूलाश्च्योतनमुत्तमम् । मधुकं रजनीं पथ्यां देवदारुं च पेषयेत् ॥१४॥

The milk of a she-goat (or cow) is effective, as is the best form of eye-drop (ashchyotana) for treating pain (Shula). Additionally, Madhu (honey), Rajani (a medicinal herb), Pathya (rejuvenative or beneficial herbs), and Devadaru (Cedrus deodara) should be ground together and used in the treatment.

आजेन पयसा श्रेष्ठमभिष्यन्दे तदञ्जनम् । गैरिकं सैन्धवं कृष्णां नागरं च यथोत्तरम् ॥१५॥

For treating Abhishyanda (Ophthalmia), the best collyrium (Anjana) is made from clarified butter (ghee) and milk. Additionally, the preparation should include Gairika (red earth), Saindhava (rock salt), Krishna (black) variety of Pippali (long pepper), and Nagar (dry ginger), in the prescribed order.
