हृदि तोदस्तृडुत्क्लेदस्त्रिष्वप्येतेषु सङ्ख्यया । प्रलापः कूजनं क्लेशः प्रत्येकं तु भवेदिह ॥१६॥

In the heart, there is a sensation of pain, tension, and discomfort, which occurs in these three types of Apasmara, as described numerically. In each case, there is delirium, moaning, and suffering.

The disease, Apasmara, manifests with all its symptoms in a state where all the characteristics are combined and the doshas are aggravated. It may also occur spontaneously, without any apparent cause, and even without external factors contributing to its onset.
