सत्यत्वादपवृत्तेषु वृत्तिस्तेषां गणैः कृता ।२६। हिंसाविहारा ये केचिद्देवभावमुपाश्रिताः ॥२६॥
The activities of those who are true to their nature and act according to their respective groups are influenced by their inherent characteristics. Some of these spirits, who are associated with divine qualities, engage in harmful activities, and are considered to possess a divine essence.

जो लोग अपनी प्रकृति के प्रति सच्चे होते हैं और अपने-अपने समूहों के अनुसार कार्य करते हैं, उनकी गतिविधियाँ उनकी अंतर्निहित विशेषताओं से प्रभावित होती हैं। इनमें से कुछ आत्माएँ, जो दैवीय गुणों से जुड़ी होती हैं, हानिकारक गतिविधियों में संलग्न होती हैं, और उन्हें दैवीय सार रखने वाला माना जाता है।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptभूतानीति कृता सञ्ज्ञा तेषां सञ्ज्ञाप्रवक्तृभिः । ग्रहसञ्ज्ञानि भूतानि यस्मद्वेत्त्यनया भिषक् ॥२७॥
The term "Bhutani" has been given as a designation by those who describe them. The spirits (Bhutas), which are known by their Graha designations, are recognized by the physician who understands them through this knowledge.

The science of Bhuta-Vidya is indeed defined by knowledge. The physician, who seeks the peace of these spirits (Bhutas), must be highly focused and well-prepared.

With disciplined recitations (japas) and controlled rituals (homas), one should begin the treatment. The red substances, fragrant garlands, seeds, honey, and clarified butter (ghee) are used in the process.

The food items, all kinds of offerings, are prepared according to the common practices. The garments, garlands, meats, and blood—each according to their own specific requirements—should be offered to them.
