In Kaphaja Thirst, the symptoms include a coating on the throat, a sticky mouth, cold fever, vomiting, and a lack of appetite. The person may also experience a heavy feeling in the body, swelling in the limbs, and a general sluggishness or heaviness in the tissues. These signs are due to the aggravation of Kapha, leading to obstruction and the drying up of the water-carrying channels in the body. As a result, the individual suffering from this condition desires water but is unable to quench the thirst.
