शीतं विधानमत ऊर्ध्वमहं प्रवक्ष्ये दाहप्रशान्तिकरमृद्धिमतां नराणाम् । तत्रादितो मलयजेन हितः प्रदेहश्चन्द्रांशुहारतुहिनोदकशीतलेन ॥५५॥
Now, I shall describe the cooling remedies for alleviating burning sensations, beneficial for noble individuals. Among these, the application of sandalwood paste prepared with water cooled under the moon's rays and chilled like snow is recommended as an initial treatment.

अब मैं जलन को दूर करने के लिए शीतल उपचारों का वर्णन करूँगा, जो सज्जन व्यक्तियों के लिए लाभदायक हैं। इनमें चन्द्रमा की किरणों में बर्फ की तरह ठण्डे पानी में तैयार चंदन का लेप लगाना प्रारंभिक उपचार के रूप में अनुशंसित है।
