कालेयके चापि घृतं विपक्वं हितं च तत् स्याद्रजनीविमिश्रम् । धातुं नदीजं जतु शैलजं वा कुम्भाह्वये मूत्रयुतं पिबेद्वा ॥३१॥

In the case of jaundice, the clarified butter (ghee) should be consumed in an appropriate form, and it is beneficial when mixed with the essence of the nightshade (rajani) plant. One may also drink the urine of an animal, or the juice derived from minerals, river water, or mountain herbs, mixed with ghee or other substances for relief.

मूत्रे स्थितं सैन्धवसम्प्रयुक्तं मासं पिबेद्वाऽपि हि लोहकिट्टम् । दग्ध्वाऽक्षकाष्ठैर्मलमायसं वा गोमूत्रनिर्वापितमष्टवारान् ॥३२॥

One may also drink the urine that has been mixed with rock salt, or consume meat that has been prepared with iron or charcoal. Additionally, one may take the meat of animals treated with ghee or other cleansing substances, or drink the urine of cows that has been boiled and purified eight times.

विचूर्ण्य लीढं मधुनाऽचिरेण कुम्भाह्वयं पाण्डुगदं निहन्यात् । सिन्धूद्भवं वाऽग्निसमं च कृत्वा क्षिप्त्वा च मूत्रे सकृदेव तप्तम् ॥३३॥

By grinding and mixing with honey, one should quickly use this preparation to destroy the jaundice (Pandurogad) associated with the Kumbhaphvaya (bile disorder). Alternatively, one may prepare it from Sindhu (salt or a specific herb) and Agni (fire), and then immerse it in urine, once heated, for a quick and effective cure.

लौहं च किट्टं बहुशश्च तप्त्वा निर्वाप्य मूत्रे बहुशस्तथैव । एकीकृतं गोजलपिष्टमेतदैकध्यमावाप्य पचेदुखायाम् ॥३४॥

After heating iron and ash, it should be washed in urine multiple times. Then, mixing it with cow's milk or paste, it should be prepared as a remedy for jaundice, ensuring its proper preparation and purification before use. This mixture, when applied correctly, alleviates the symptoms and provides relief.

यथा न दह्येत तथा विशुष्कं चूर्णीकृतं पेयमुदश्विता तत् । तक्रौदनाशी विजयेत रोगं पाण्डुं तथा दीपयतेऽनलं च ॥३५॥

To prevent it from being burned, the powdered substance should be prepared in such a way that it remains dry. The resulting drink, when consumed, overcomes the disease of jaundice. It also helps in stimulating the digestive fire, aiding in the healing process.
