न्यग्रोधवर्गस्य पिबेत् कषायं शीतं सिताक्षौद्रयुतं हिताशी | शालादिकं चाप्यथ सारचूर्णं धात्रीफलं वा मधुनाऽवलिह्यात् ||२७||
The patient should drink a decoction of the Nyagrodha group of herbs, cooled and mixed with sugar or honey. Additionally, powders from Shala or other similar herbs, or the fruit of Dhatri (Amla), should be licked with honey for effective treatment.

रोगी को न्यग्रोध समूह की जड़ी-बूटियों का काढ़ा ठंडा करके उसमें चीनी या शहद मिलाकर पीना चाहिए। इसके अतिरिक्त, शाल या इसी प्रकार की अन्य जड़ी-बूटियों या धात्री (आंवला) के फल का चूर्ण शहद के साथ चाटने से भी रोग में लाभ मिलता है।
