वायुः प्रकुपितः कोष्ठे शूलं सञ्जनयेद्भृशम् । निरुच्छ्वासी भवेत्तेन वेदनापीडितो नरः ॥८०॥
When the air (Vayu) becomes aggravated in the abdomen, it causes intense pain (Shula). The person becomes unable to breathe properly and is afflicted with pain and distress.

जब पेट में वायु की मात्रा बढ़ जाती है, तो शूल नामक तीव्र दर्द होता है। व्यक्ति ठीक से सांस नहीं ले पाता और दर्द और परेशानी से ग्रस्त हो जाता है।
