पाठां वचां त्रिकटुकं तथा कटुकरोहिणीम् । चित्रकस्य च निर्यूहे पिबेद्यूषं सहार्जकम् ॥१११॥
The combination of Patha (Cissampelos pareira), Vacha (Acorus calamus), Trikatu (a mixture of black pepper, long pepper, and ginger), and Katukarohini (Picrorhiza kurroa), along with Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica) in the form of a decoction, should be taken with the addition of honey or sugar syrup (Arjaka). Whether the pain is caused by vata, pitta, or kapha, or due to a combination of these (sannipatik), one should forcefully destroy the pain, like the wind dispersing a cloud.
