अध्वप्रशोषी स्रस्ताङ्गः सम्भृष्टपरुषच्छविः | प्रसुप्तगात्रावयवः शुष्कक्लोमगलाननः ||२१||

The person suffering from Phthisis (Shosha), with wasted limbs, has rough skin, cold extremities, and a body that feels stiff and dried up, with a dry, hollowed face and numbness in the limbs.

तपेदिक (तपेदिक) रोग से पीड़ित व्यक्ति के अंग कमजोर हो जाते हैं, त्वचा खुरदरी हो जाती है, हाथ-पैर ठंडे हो जाते हैं, शरीर अकड़ जाता है और सूखा महसूस होता है, चेहरा सूखा और खोखला हो जाता है तथा अंगों में सुन्नता आ जाती है।

व्यायामशोषी भूयिष्ठमेभिरेव समन्वितः | उरःक्षतकृतैर्लिङ्गैः संयुक्तश्च क्षताद्विना ||२२||

The person suffering from excessive physical exertion, along with the conditions associated with it, is affected by the symptoms caused by chest wounds and injuries, manifesting in combined symptoms of both these conditions, but without any external injuries.

अत्यधिक शारीरिक परिश्रम तथा उससे जुड़ी स्थितियों से पीड़ित व्यक्ति छाती में घाव और चोटों के कारण होने वाले लक्षणों से प्रभावित होता है, तथा इन दोनों स्थितियों के लक्षण संयुक्त रूप से प्रकट होते हैं, लेकिन किसी बाहरी चोट के बिना।

The condition of wasting (Shosha) arising from blood depletion, pain, and disturbances caused by improper diet and digestion, particularly in the case of a person with wounds, is considered to be one of the most difficult to treat.

रक्त की कमी, दर्द, तथा अनुचित आहार और पाचन के कारण होने वाली गड़बड़ी से उत्पन्न होने वाली शोष की स्थिति, विशेष रूप से घाव वाले व्यक्ति के मामले में, इलाज के लिए सबसे कठिन मानी जाती है।

The individual who suffers from excessive physical exertion, study, blows, overindulgence in sexual activity, and whose chest is injured or torn, experiences the following consequences: the blood in the chest is affected, and pus and mucus also flow as a result of the injury.

जो व्यक्ति अत्यधिक शारीरिक परिश्रम, अध्ययन, मारपीट, यौन क्रियाकलापों में अत्यधिक लिप्तता से पीड़ित होता है, तथा जिसकी छाती में चोट लग जाती है या फट जाती है, उसे निम्नलिखित परिणाम अनुभव होते हैं: छाती में रक्त प्रभावित होता है, तथा चोट के परिणामस्वरूप मवाद और बलगम भी निकलता है।

कासमानश्छर्दयेच्च पीतरक्तासितारुणम् | सन्तप्तवक्षाः सोऽत्यर्थं दूयनात्परिताम्यति ||२५||

When there is cough accompanied by vomiting, with yellow, red, or dark-colored blood, and the chest becomes excessively heated, the person suffers greatly and may faint due to extreme weakness.

जब खांसी के साथ उल्टी होती है, पीले, लाल या गहरे रंग का खून आता है, तथा छाती अत्यधिक गर्म हो जाती है, तो व्यक्ति को बहुत कष्ट होता है और अत्यधिक कमजोरी के कारण वह बेहोश हो सकता है।
