प्रध्यानशीलः स्रस्ताङ्गः शोकशोष्यपि तादृशः । विना शुक्रक्षयकृतैर्विकारैरभिलक्षितः ॥१८॥
A person who is characterized by an emaciated body, with a drooping posture and a mindset filled with sorrow, exhibits the symptoms of Phthisis (Shosha), even in the absence of disorders caused directly by the depletion of semen (Shukra). This suggests that the emotional impact and the resulting physical condition contribute to the wasting of the body.

एक व्यक्ति जो दुर्बल शरीर, झुकी हुई मुद्रा और दुःख से भरी मानसिकता वाला होता है, वह यक्ष्मा (शोष) के लक्षण प्रदर्शित करता है, भले ही वीर्य (शुक्र) की कमी से सीधे होने वाले विकार न हों। इससे पता चलता है कि भावनात्मक प्रभाव और परिणामी शारीरिक स्थिति शरीर की दुर्बलता में योगदान करती है।
