नानावर्णमतीसारं पुटपाकैरुपाचरेत् । त्वक्पिण्डं दीर्घवृन्तस्य पद्मकेसरसंयुतम् ॥८१॥
The dysentery of various types and colors should be treated with preparations made from different medicinal compounds. The skin of the long vine, combined with the essence of lotus stamens, should be used in the treatment.

The thread should be tightly wound with Kashmiri lotus leaves, and the mixture should be coated with soft clay. It should then be treated with the ashes of the Avakula tree to make it effective.

Having sweated and extracted the juice, and having taken it, and having made it cool and mixed with honey, he should make the patient drink it in a case of abdominal disease.

पेट के रोग में रोगी को पसीना लाकर उसका रस निकालना चाहिए, उसे ठंडा करके उसमें शहद मिलाकर पिलाना चाहिए।

With the pulp of the Nyagrodha (banyan tree) and the bark, it should be processed as before and mixed well. After taking the juice, it should be applied to the body of the person who has been thoroughly steamed and prepared for treatment.
