सशूलं बहुशः कृच्छ्राद्विबद्धं योऽतिसार्यते । दोषान् सन्निचितान् तस्य पथ्याभिः सम्प्रवर्तयेत् ॥३१॥
One who suffers from intense and persistent pain (Shoola), along with severe difficulty, and is afflicted by a continuous attack of diarrhea (Atisara), should manage the doshas (bodily humors) that have accumulated in the body by using appropriate therapeutic measures that are conducive to recovery.

जो व्यक्ति तीव्र और लगातार दर्द (शूल) से पीड़ित है, साथ ही गंभीर कठिनाई से पीड़ित है, और लगातार अतिसार के हमले से पीड़ित है, उसे शरीर में जमा हुए दोषों (शारीरिक द्रव्यों) को नियंत्रित करने के लिए उचित चिकित्सीय उपायों का उपयोग करना चाहिए, जो कि स्वास्थ्य लाभ के लिए अनुकूल हों।
