कर्मदोषक्षयकृता तेषां सिद्धिर्विधीयते | दुष्यति ग्रहणी जन्तोरग्निसादनहेतुभिः ||१६६||

For those whose action-related doshas are reduced, the cure is prescribed. The functioning of the digestive fire in such individuals is disturbed, leading to disorders like Grahani (a disease of the digestive system) caused by impaired digestion.

जिन लोगों के कर्म-संबंधी दोष कम हो जाते हैं, उनके लिए यह उपचार निर्धारित है। ऐसे व्यक्तियों में पाचन अग्नि की कार्यप्रणाली गड़बड़ा जाती है, जिससे पाचन तंत्र की ख़राबी के कारण ग्रहणी (पाचन तंत्र की बीमारी) जैसी बीमारियाँ हो जाती हैं।

अतिसारे निवृत्तेऽपि मन्दाग्नेरहिताशिनः | भूयः सन्दूषितो वह्निर्ग्रहणीमभिदूषयेत् ||१६७||

Even after the cessation of diarrhea, if a person with weak digestive fire (mandagni) continues to eat improperly, the digestive fire may again become aggravated and disturb the Grahani, causing further complications.

तस्मात्कार्यः परीहारस्त्वतीसारे विरिक्तवत् | यावन्न प्रकृतिस्थः स्याद्दोषतः प्राणतस्तथा ||१६८||

Therefore, the treatment for a person suffering from excessive diarrhea should be such that it eliminates the waste (virechana) and restores balance, ensuring that the doshas are in their natural state and the person’s life force is stable.

षष्ठी पित्तधरा नाम या कला परिकीर्तिता | पक्वामाशयमध्यस्था ग्रहणी सा प्रकीर्तिता ||१६९||

The sixth type is known as Pittadhara, the energy that is proclaimed. It is located in the middle of the stomach, both the cooked (where digestion occurs) and uncooked parts, and is recognized as the duodenum.
