तमभिन्यासमित्याहुर्हतौजसमथापरे । सन्निपातज्वरं कृच्छ्रमसाध्यमपरे विदुः ॥४१॥
Some call it the disease caused by the loss of strength, while others refer to it as the fever resulting from a critical condition, which is difficult to cure.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिद्रोपेतमभिन्यासं क्षीणमेनं हतौजसम् । सन्न्यस्तगात्रं सन्न्यासं विद्यात्सर्वात्मके ज्वरे ॥४२॥
One who is afflicted with the fever, who is weakened, exhausted, and overcome with sleep, and whose body is slack and inactive, is said to be suffering from the fever that affects the entire body.

जो व्यक्ति ज्वर से पीड़ित है, जो कमजोर, थका हुआ, नींद से ग्रस्त है, तथा जिसका शरीर शिथिल एवं निष्क्रिय है, उसे सम्पूर्ण शरीर को प्रभावित करने वाले ज्वर से पीड़ित कहा जाता है।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptओजो विस्रंसते यस्य पित्तानिलसमुच्छ्रयात् । स गात्रस्तम्भशीताभ्यां शयनेप्सुरचेतनः ॥४३॥
One whose strength is drained due to the elevation of Pitta and Vayu, whose body becomes stiff and cold, and who is unable to remain conscious while lying down, is said to suffer from this condition.

पित्त और वायु के बढ़ने के कारण जिसकी शक्ति क्षीण हो जाती है, जिसका शरीर अकड़ जाता है और ठंडा हो जाता है, तथा जो लेटते समय होश में नहीं रह पाता, उसे इस रोग से पीड़ित कहा जाता है।

Even if the creature is awake or asleep, it becomes lethargic, speaks incoherently, has erect body hair, limp limbs, and experiences mild burning sensations and pain.

यदि प्राणी जाग रहा हो या सो रहा हो, तो भी वह सुस्त हो जाता है, अस्पष्ट बोलता है, उसके शरीर पर बाल खड़े हो जाते हैं, अंग शिथिल हो जाते हैं, तथा उसे हल्की जलन और दर्द का अनुभव होता है।

The skilled physician should recognize that it is caused by the obstruction of vital energy. It can occur on the seventh, tenth, or twelfth day.
