निद्रोपेतमभिन्यासं क्षीणमेनं हतौजसम् । सन्न्यस्तगात्रं सन्न्यासं विद्यात्सर्वात्मके ज्वरे ॥४२॥
One who is afflicted with the fever, who is weakened, exhausted, and overcome with sleep, and whose body is slack and inactive, is said to be suffering from the fever that affects the entire body.

जो व्यक्ति ज्वर से पीड़ित है, जो कमजोर, थका हुआ, नींद से ग्रस्त है, तथा जिसका शरीर शिथिल एवं निष्क्रिय है, उसे सम्पूर्ण शरीर को प्रभावित करने वाले ज्वर से पीड़ित कहा जाता है।
