दीप्ताग्निं भोजयेत् प्राज्ञो नरं मांसरसौदनम् । मुद्गयूषौदनश्चापि हितः कफसमुत्थिते ॥१३७॥
The wise physician should feed a person with a strong digestion (due to the presence of a high digestive fire) with a diet consisting of meat soup, and also provide a soup made of mung beans (mudga) for those suffering from a condition caused by an aggravated Kapha dosha.

बुद्धिमान चिकित्सक को चाहिए कि वह मजबूत पाचन शक्ति वाले (उच्च पाचन अग्नि की उपस्थिति के कारण) व्यक्ति को मांस का सूप खिलाए, तथा उत्तेजित कफ दोष के कारण पीड़ित व्यक्ति को मूंग दाल का सूप भी खिलाए।
