शिरोगौरवशूलघ्नमिन्द्रियप्रतिबोधनम् । कफाभिपन्ने शिरसि कार्यं मूर्धविरेचनम् ॥१२९॥
In cases where there is heaviness or pain in the head and impairment of the senses, and when there is an accumulation of Kapha in the head, it is advisable to perform a head purgation (murdha virechana).

जब सिर में भारीपन या दर्द हो, इन्द्रियाँ क्षीण हों, तथा सिर में कफ का संचय हो, तो सिर का विरेचन (मूर्धा विरेचन) करना उचित होता है।
