Then, after the exalted god Skanda was made the leader of the celestial forces, all the Grahas approached him, their powers shining brightly, and with folded hands, they sought his guidance.

तत्पश्चात्, जब भगवान स्कंद को दिव्य शक्तियों का नेता बना दिया गया, तो सभी ग्रह अपनी शक्तियों को चमकाते हुए उनके पास पहुंचे और हाथ जोड़कर उनसे मार्गदर्शन मांगा।

ऊचुः प्राञ्जलयश्चैनं वृत्तिं नः संविधत्स्व वै | तेषामर्थे ततः स्कन्दः शिवं देवमचोदयत् ||१२||

With folded hands, they said to him, "Please arrange for our sustenance." In response to their plea, Skanda directed them to Lord Shiva, the supreme deity, for the answer.

हाथ जोड़कर उन्होंने स्कंद से कहा, "कृपया हमारे भरण-पोषण की व्यवस्था करें।" उनकी विनती सुनकर स्कंद ने उन्हें उत्तर के लिए सर्वोच्च देवता भगवान शिव के पास भेजा।

Then, the blessed god, the remover of Bhaga's eyes, spoke to the Grahas, saying: "The gods, the animals, humans, and the entire universe exist through the principle of reciprocal benefit."

तब, भग की आंखों को हटाने वाले धन्य भगवान ने ग्रहों से बात करते हुए कहा: "देवता, पशु, मनुष्य और संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड पारस्परिक लाभ के सिद्धांत के माध्यम से मौजूद हैं।"

"पारस्परिक सहयोग के माध्यम से सभी प्राणियों का पालन-पोषण होता है। देवता मनुष्यों को प्रसन्न करते हैं, और उसी तरह, वे पशु लोक में रहने वालों को भी संतुष्ट करते हैं।"

"Just as the seasons, with their varying conditions of cold, heat, and winds, are maintained, similarly, the gods are pleased through offerings, salutations, prayers, rituals, vows, and other religious practices."

"जिस प्रकार ऋतुएँ अपनी बदलती परिस्थितियों जैसे सर्दी, गर्मी और हवाओं के साथ बनी रहती हैं, उसी प्रकार देवताओं को प्रसाद, नमस्कार, प्रार्थना, अनुष्ठान, व्रत और अन्य धार्मिक प्रथाओं के माध्यम से प्रसन्न किया जाता है।"
