नैगमेषस्तु पार्वत्या सृष्टो मेषाननो ग्रहाः । कुमारधारी देवस्य गुहस्यात्मसमः सखा ॥६॥
The Naigamesha Graha, who has the face of a sheep, was created by the goddess Parvati as a companion and protector of the young god Guha, who is as dear to him as his own self.

The Graha known as Skandapasmara, who is associated with the disease bearing his name, was created by Agni, the fire-god, and is as radiant as fire itself. He is also known by the name Vishakha and is a constant companion of Skanda.

स्कंदपास्मर के नाम से जाना जाने वाला ग्रह, जो अपने नाम वाले रोग से जुड़ा हुआ है, अग्नि, अग्नि-देवता द्वारा बनाया गया था, और अग्नि की तरह ही तेजस्वी है। उन्हें विशाखा नाम से भी जाना जाता है और वे स्कंद के निरंतर साथी हैं।

Skanda, the Graha associated with this disease, was created by the blessed deity, the destroyer of Tripura (Mahadeva). He bears the name Kumara, signifying his nature as a child, and is known for his supreme prowess.

इस रोग से जुड़े ग्रह स्कंद को त्रिपुरा (महादेव) के विनाशक, धन्य देवता द्वारा बनाया गया था। उनका नाम कुमार है, जो उनके बाल स्वभाव को दर्शाता है, और वे अपने सर्वोच्च पराक्रम के लिए जाने जाते हैं।

skandaH sRSTo bhagavatA devena tripurAriNA । bibharti cAraparAM saJjJAM kumAra iti sa grahaH ॥8॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबाललीलाधरो योऽयं देवो रुद्राग्निसम्भवः । मिथ्याचारेषु भगवान् स्वयं नैष प्रवर्तते ॥९॥
This deity, who is fond of the playful activities of childhood, is born of Rudra and Agni. The blessed god does not engage in wrongful actions himself, and it is stated that such a disease does not arise from him through any mischievousness or fault of his own.

बचपन की चंचल गतिविधियों में रुचि रखने वाले इस देवता का जन्म रुद्र और अग्नि से हुआ है। यह धन्य देवता स्वयं गलत कार्यों में संलग्न नहीं होता है, और ऐसा कहा जाता है कि ऐसा रोग उसके किसी शरारत या दोष के कारण उत्पन्न नहीं होता है।

Some ignorant scholars, with limited understanding, mistakenly say that the god Kumara (Skanda) is the same as the disease associated with his name, due to a confusion arising from the similarity in names, ignoring the true nature of the divine deity.
