तैलं कालोपपन्नं तन्नस्यं स्यादनयोर्हितम् | कफजे सर्पिषा स्निग्धं तिलमाषविपक्वया ||३०||
For treating Kaphaja Pratishyaya, an appropriate medicated oil (taila) should be prepared with ingredients that are suitable for the condition and time. This oil should be used for nasal administration (Nasya). In Kaphaja cases, the oil should be combined with clarified butter (sarpir), making it smooth and nourishing. The oil should be made with sesame (tila) and Masha (black gram), both of which have been properly cooked to balance the excessive Kapha and promote proper drainage of the mucus.
