The tender sprouts of the Arka plant, mixed with sour paste and oil, should be prepared along with salt. This mixture should be placed inside a hollow Snuhi root and wrapped with its leaves. It should then be heated in fire, and the juice squeezed out to be used as an ear-drop to relieve earache.

अर्का के कोमल अंकुरों को खट्टे पेस्ट और तेल में मिलाकर नमक के साथ तैयार करना चाहिए। इस मिश्रण को खोखली स्नुही जड़ के अंदर रखकर उसके पत्तों से लपेटना चाहिए। फिर इसे आग में गर्म करके रस निचोड़कर कान के दर्द से राहत पाने के लिए कान में डालने वाली बूंद के रूप में इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए।
