सूर्यप्रभां न सहते स्रवति प्रबद्धं, तस्याहरेद्रुधिरमाशु विनिर्लिखेच्च । क्षौद्रायुतैश्च कटुभिः प्रतिसारयेत्तु मातुः शिशोरभिहितं च विधिं विदध्यात् ॥१०॥

The child suffering from Kukunaka cannot tolerate sunlight, and there is excessive tearing. The physician should quickly draw out the blood and apply treatments with bitter, honey-infused compounds. The mother should also follow the prescribed treatments for the condition of her breast milk.

english translation

कुकुनाका से पीड़ित बच्चा सूरज की रोशनी बर्दाश्त नहीं कर पाता और उसके आंसू बहुत ज़्यादा निकलते हैं। चिकित्सक को तुरंत खून बाहर निकालना चाहिए और कड़वे, शहद युक्त यौगिकों से उपचार करना चाहिए। माँ को भी अपने स्तन के दूध की स्थिति के लिए निर्धारित उपचारों का पालन करना चाहिए।
