When the eye of a person is injured in various ways, resulting in intense pain, redness, and swelling, the wise physician should treat it with Nasya (errhines), medicinal plasters, sprinkling, Tarpana (soothing measures), and other remedies, all of which should be applied at the right time. These treatments help relieve pain caused by the deranged blood and Pitta, and are beneficial for the healing of the wound.
