अक्षि नात्यन्तयोरञ्ज्याद्बाधमानोऽपि वा भिषक् । न चानिर्वान्तदोषेऽक्ष्णि धावनं सम्प्रयोजयेत् ॥६६॥
The physician should not apply the ointment to the eyes that are excessively painful, nor should they use it in case of vomiting or any disorder of the eyes.

चिकित्सक को अत्यधिक दर्द वाली आंखों पर यह मरहम नहीं लगाना चाहिए, न ही उल्टी या आंखों के किसी विकार की स्थिति में इसका प्रयोग करना चाहिए।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptदोषः प्रतिनिवृत्तः सन् हन्याद् दृष्टेर्बलं तथा । गतदोषमपेताश्रु पश्येद्यत् सम्यगम्भसा ॥६७॥
When the dosha is eliminated, the strength of the vision should be restored, and the eyes, having been relieved of the disorder and tears, should be seen to be in proper condition.

जब दोष समाप्त हो जाए, तो दृष्टि की शक्ति पुनः आ जानी चाहिए, तथा विकार और आंसुओं से मुक्त होकर आंखें उचित स्थिति में दिखनी चाहिए।

After washing the eyes according to the dosha, the appropriate application of collyrium should be done. This will relieve the symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, crying, and fever caused by anger, fear, or excess heat.

दोष के अनुसार आँखों को धोने के बाद, काजल का उचित प्रयोग करना चाहिए। इससे थकान, चक्कर आना, रोना, क्रोध, भय या अधिक गर्मी के कारण होने वाला बुखार आदि लक्षणों से राहत मिलेगी।

Collyrium should not be applied to patients suffering from head trauma, or those with disorders related to excessive movement, as it may lead to the aggravation of symptoms such as redness, irritation, discharge, pain, and increased agitation.

Collyrium should not be applied in cases where there is exhaustion from lack of sleep, diminished strength due to wind imbalance, or where the patient suffers from excessive phlegm, fever, or other conditions that could aggravate symptoms such as redness, discharge, and confusion.
