Alternatively, the application should be done according to the sequence of activities, in the morning, afternoon, or during midday, and also during the times of disease, as required for both periods (before and after noon).

By the combination of appropriate application and the use of oily fomentation, those qualities which are produced by the disease at the head, and which are extremely potent, are destroyed by the prescribed application of tarpana.

उचित प्रयोग तथा तैलीय सिंकाई के प्रयोग से, सिर पर रोग के कारण उत्पन्न होने वाले वे गुण, जो अत्यंत शक्तिशाली होते हैं, तर्पण के निर्धारित प्रयोग से नष्ट हो जाते हैं।
