स्तन्यजाङ्गलमध्वाज्यतिक्तद्रव्यविपाचितः । लेखनात्त्रिगुणं धार्यः पुटपाकस्तु रोपणः ॥२६॥
The collyrium prepared with substances such as breast milk, jungle honey, and bitter ingredients that have been processed, is said to be three times more effective than the standard collyrium when used in the prescribed manner. The therapeutic effect of such a preparation is similar to that of the Ropana (healing) collyrium.

स्तन के दूध, जंगल के शहद और संसाधित कड़वे तत्वों से तैयार किया गया कोलियरियम, निर्धारित तरीके से इस्तेमाल किए जाने पर मानक कोलियरियम से तीन गुना ज़्यादा प्रभावी माना जाता है। इस तरह की तैयारी का चिकित्सीय प्रभाव रोपना (उपचार) कोलियरियम के समान है।

The application of collyrium for Tarpana (soothing) should be done after discontinuing the use of smoke, while for Ropana (healing), the action of applying the soothing and sweating measures is not appropriate.

The eyes that have been treated with Tarpana or Puta-paka should not be exposed to bright lights, the wind, or the sky, nor should they be exposed to mirrors or dazzling objects.

जिन आंखों का तर्पण या पूत-पाक से उपचार किया गया है, उन्हें तेज रोशनी, हवा या आकाश के संपर्क में नहीं आना चाहिए, न ही उन्हें दर्पण या चमकदार वस्तुओं के संपर्क में आना चाहिए।

One who performs improper treatment on these (methods of Tarpana and Puta-paka) will give rise to diseases. Therefore, the treatment with collyriums, eye-drops, and sweating should be done as prescribed for the specific condition.
