शाम्यत्येवं न चेच्छूलं स्निग्धस्विन्नस्य मोक्षयेत् । ततः सिरां दहेद्वाऽपि मतिमान् कीर्तितं यथा ॥९५॥
In this manner, if the pain does not subside, and the condition does not improve even after the application of the unctuous and warm treatment, then the vein should be cauterized, as has been mentioned by the wise.

इस प्रकार यदि दर्द कम न हो, तथा चिकनाई व गर्म उपचार के बाद भी स्थिति में सुधार न हो, तो शिरा को जला देना चाहिए, जैसा कि बुद्धिमानों ने बताया है।
