(मज्ज्ञा वा तद्विमिश्रेण मेदसा तच्छृतेन वा) । ततः प्रदेहाः परिषेचनानि नस्यानि धूमाश्च यथास्वमेव । आश्च्योतनाभ्यञ्जनतर्पणानि स्निग्धाश्च कार्याः पुटपाकयोगाः ॥६॥

After performing the necessary cleansing, the physician should apply local treatments such as ointments, washes, nasal drops, and fumigation as appropriate. The eye should be treated with eye drops, ointments, soothing measures, and other unctuous treatments. Unctuous therapies and heating treatments should also be used according to the individual condition.

आवश्यक सफाई करने के बाद, चिकित्सक को स्थानीय उपचार जैसे मलहम, धुलाई, नाक की बूंदें और धूम्रीकरण को उचित रूप से लागू करना चाहिए। आँख का उपचार आँखों की बूंदों, मलहम, सुखदायक उपायों और अन्य स्नेहक उपचारों से किया जाना चाहिए। व्यक्तिगत स्थिति के अनुसार स्नेहक उपचार और हीटिंग उपचार का भी उपयोग किया जाना चाहिए।
