सम्पादितस्य विधिना कृत्स्नेन स्यन्दघातिना । अनेनापहरेच्छुक्रमव्रणं कुशलो भिषक् ॥२७॥
A skilled physician, following the prescribed method, should completely cleanse the affected area by using the eye treatment (Syndaghātinā). This will help in removing any obstruction or wound, thus promoting healing of the eye.
