नीलान् यवान् गव्यपयोऽनुपीतान् शलाकिनः शुष्कतनून् विदह्य | तथाऽर्जकास्फोतकपित्थबिल्वनिर्गुण्डिजातीकुसुमानि चैव ||११||

The physician should soak blue barley (Neelan) along with the horns in milk for a week or two, then dry it by the process of Bhavana (saturation). After burning it into ashes, these ashes should be mixed with an equal amount of ashes from Arjaka, Ashfotaka, Kapittha, Bilva, Nirgundi, and Jati flowers. This compound should be used as an Anjana for the treatment of Valasa-Grathita.

The alkaline solution, made with Saindhava salt, Tuttha (copper sulfate), and Rocana, should be added to the prepared ashes and boiled. After this, iron should be used to apply the compound as an Anjana in the case of Valasa-Grathita. This method is similarly applicable in cases caused by Phanijjhaka and similar conditions.

A powerful medicinal compound should be prepared using Mahoushadha, Magadhika, Musta, and Saindhava salt, along with Shukla (white) Maricha (black pepper). This should be ground with the juice of Matulunga (bitter orange) to form a paste, which, when used as an eye ointment (Anjana), will quickly alleviate the eye disease.

The fruits of Vrihati, when ripe, should be used to prepare a paste. This paste, made during the fruit's ripening stage, should be combined with an extract (Kalka) and mixed with the juice of Srotoj. This compound should then be used as Anjana. Such a preparation is also effective in treating eye diseases as per the prescribed method.

Similarly, a paste can be prepared from the fruits of Vartaka (brinjal), Shigru (drumstick), Indra-Varuni, Patola, Kirata-tikta, and Amalaki. This mixture, along with Kasisa (sulphate of iron), Samudra (sea salt), and Rasanjana, should be used as an Anjana (eye ointment). Additionally, Jati flowers and other similar ingredients can be included in this preparation.
