पूयास्रावो नाकुलान्ध्यमक्षिपाकात्ययोऽलजी | असाध्याः सर्वजा याप्यः काचः कोपश्च पक्ष्मणः ||३९||

sanskrit

The verse describes certain conditions that are considered untreatable (Asādhya) or treatable with difficulty (Yāpya). These conditions include Pūyāsrāvo (discharge of pus), Nākulāndhya (blindness caused by inflammation or other factors), Akṣipākātyayo (excessive or abnormal eye discharge), and Alajī (conditions associated with inflammation or loss of function). These are seen as the more severe types of eye disorders, especially those related to pus discharge or significant damage to the eye, and are classified as treatable only under specific conditions, depending on the nature of the underlying doshas (bodily humors).
