सत्यव्रतस्य राजर्षेर्मायामत्स्यस्य शार्ङ्गिणः । संवादं महदाख्यानं श्रुत्वा मुच्येत किल्बिषात् ॥ ८-२४-५९ ॥
This story concerning the great King Satyavrata and the fish incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Viṣṇu, is a great transcendental narration. Anyone who hears it is delivered from the reactions of sinful life. ॥ 8-24-59 ॥

महान् राजा सत्यव्रत तथा भगवान् विष्णु के मत्स्यावतार से सम्बन्धित यह कथा एक महान् दिव्य आख्यान है। जो भी इसे सुनता है, वह पापमय जीवन के फलों से छूट जाता है। ॥ ८-२४-५९ ॥
