एवमिन्द्राय भगवान् प्रत्यानीय त्रिविष्टपम् । पूरयित्वादितेः काममशासत्सकलं जगत् ॥ ८-२३-४ ॥

Thus having delivered the proprietorship of the heavenly planets to Indra and having fulfilled the desire of Aditi, mother of the demigods, the Supreme Personality of Godhead ruled the affairs of the universe. ॥ 8-23-4 ॥

english translation

इस प्रकार इन्द्र को स्वर्गलोकों का स्वामित्व प्रदान करके तथा देवमाता अदिति की इच्छा पूरी करके भगवान् ब्रह्माण्ड के कार्यकलापों पर शासन करने लगे। ॥ ८-२३-४ ॥
