गृहेषु येष्वतिथयो नार्चिताः सलिलैरपि । यदि निर्यान्ति ते नूनं फेरुराजगृहोपमाः ॥ ८-१६-७ ॥
Homes from which guests go away without having been received even with an offering of a little water are like those holes in the field which are the homes of jackals. ॥ 8-16-7 ॥

जिन घरों से मेहमान एक गिलास जल भेंट किए गए बिना वापस चले जाते हैं, वे घर खेतों के उन बिलों के समान हैं जिनमें सियार रहते हैं। ॥ ८-१६-७ ॥
