यन्नाभिपद्मभवनादहमासमीड्य लोकत्रयोपकरणो यदनुग्रहेण । तस्मै नमस्त उदरस्थभवाय योगनिद्रावसानविकसन्नलिनेक्षणाय ॥ ३-९-२१ ॥
O object of my worship, I am born from the house of Your lotus navel for the purpose of creating the universe by Your mercy. All these planets of the universe were stationed within Your transcendental abdomen while You were enjoying sleep. Now, Your sleep having ended, Your eyes are open like blossoming lotuses in the morning. ॥ 3-9-21 ॥

हे मेरी पूजा के लक्ष्य, मैं आपकी कृपा से ब्रह्माण्ड की रचना करने हेतु आपके कमल नाभि रूपी घर से उत्पन्न हुआ हूँ। जब आप नींद का आनन्द ले रहे थे, तब ब्रह्माण्ड के ये सारे लोक आपके दिव्य उदर के भीतर स्थित थे। अब आपकी नींद टूटी है, तो आपके नेत्र प्रात:काल में खिलते हुए कमलों की तरह खुले हुए हैं। ॥ ३-९-२१ ॥

सोऽयं समस्तजगतां सुहृदेक आत्मा सत्त्वेन यन्मृडयते भगवान् भगेन । तेनैव मे दृशमनुस्पृशताद्यथाहं स्रक्ष्यामि पूर्ववदिदं प्रणतप्रियोऽसौ ॥ ३-९-२२ ॥
Let the Supreme Lord be merciful towards me. He is the one friend and soul of all living entities in the world, and He maintains all, for their ultimate happiness, by His six transcendental opulences. May He be merciful towards me so that I, as before, may be empowered with the introspection to create, for I am also one of the surrendered souls who are dear to the Lord. ॥ 3-9-22 ॥

परमेश्वर मुझ पर कृपालु हों। वे इस जगत में सारे जीवों के एकमात्र मित्र तथा आत्मा हैं और वे अपने छ: ऐश्वर्यों द्वारा जीवों के चरम सुख हेतु इन सबों का पालन-पोषण करते हैं। वे मुझ पर कृपालु हों, जिससे मैं पहले की तरह सृजन करने की आत्मपरीक्षण शक्ति से युक्त हो सकूँ, क्योंकि मैं भी उन शरणागत जीवों में से हूँ जो भगवान् को प्रिय हैं। ॥ ३-९-२२ ॥

एष प्रपन्नवरदो रमयाऽऽत्मशक्त्या यद्यत्करिष्यति गृहीतगुणावतारः । तस्मिन् स्वविक्रममिदं सृजतोऽपि चेतो युञ्जीत कर्मशमलं च यथा विजह्याम् ॥ ३-९-२३ ॥
The Supreme Lord, the Personality of Godhead, is always the benefactor of the surrendered souls. His activities are always enacted through His internal potency, Ramā, or the goddess of fortune. I pray only to engage in His service in the creation of the material world, and I pray that I not be materially affected by my works, for thus I may be able to give up the false prestige of being the creator. ॥ 3-9-23 ॥

भगवान् सदा ही शरणागतों को वर देने वाले हैं। उनके सारे कार्य उनकी अन्तरंगा शक्ति रमा या लक्ष्मी के माध्यम से सम्पन्न होते हैं। मेरी उनसे यही विनती है कि भौतिक जगत के सृजन में वे मुझे अपनी सेवा में लगा लें और मेरी यही प्रार्थना है कि मैं अपने कर्मों द्वारा भौतिक रूप से प्रभावित न होऊँ, क्योंकि इस तरह मैं स्रष्टा होने की मिथ्या-प्रतिष्ठा त्यागने में सक्षम हो सकूँगा। ॥ ३-९-२३ ॥

नाभिह्रदादिह सतोऽम्भसि यस्य पुंसो विज्ञानशक्तिरहमासमनन्तशक्तेः । रूपं विचित्रमिदमस्य विवृण्वतो मे मा रीरिषीष्ट निगमस्य गिरां विसर्गः ॥ ३-९-२४ ॥
The Lord’s potencies are innumerable. As He lies down in the water of devastation, I am born as the total universal energy from the navel lake in which the lotus sprouts. I am now engaged in manifesting His diverse energies in the form of the cosmic manifestation. I therefore pray that in the course of my material activities I may not be deviated from the vibration of the Vedic hymns. ॥ 3-9-24 ॥

भगवान् की शक्तियाँ असंख्य हैं। जब वे प्रलय-जल में लेटे रहते हैं, तो उस नाभिरूपी झील से, जिसमें कमल खिलता है, मैं समग्र विश्वशक्ति के रूप में उत्पन्न होता हूँ। इस समय मैं विराट जगत के रूप में उनकी विविध शक्तियों को उद्धाटित करने में लगा हुआ हूँ। इसलिए मैं प्रार्थना करता हूँ कि अपने भौतिक कार्यों को करते समय मैं वैदिक स्तुतियों की ध्वनि से कहीं विचलित न हो जाऊँ। ॥ ३-९-२४ ॥

सोऽसावदभ्रकरुणो भगवान् विवृद्धप्रेमस्मितेन नयनाम्बुरुहं विजृम्भन् । उत्थाय विश्वविजयाय च नो विषादं माध्व्या गिरापनयतात्पुरुषः पुराणः ॥ ३-९-२५ ॥
The Lord, who is supreme and is the oldest of all, is unlimitedly merciful. I wish that He may smilingly bestow His benediction upon me by opening His lotus eyes. He can uplift the entire cosmic creation and remove our dejection by kindly speaking His directions. ॥ 3-9-25 ॥

भगवान् जो कि परम हैं और सबसे प्राचीन हैं, अपार कृपालु हैं। मैं चाहता हूँ कि वे अपने कमलनेत्रों को खोल कर मुसकाते हुए मुझे वर दें। वे सम्पूर्ण विराट सृष्टि का उत्थान कर सकते हैं और अपने कृपापूर्ण आदेशों के द्वारा हमारा विषाद दूर कर सकते हैं। ॥ ३-९-२५ ॥
