कर्णावस्य विनिर्भिन्नौ धिष्ण्यं स्वं विविशुर्दिशः । श्रोत्रेणांशेन शब्दस्य सिद्धिं येन प्रपद्यते ।। ३-६-१७ ।।

sanskrit

When the ears of the gigantic form became manifested, all the controlling deities of the directions entered into them with the hearing principles, by which all the living entities hear and take advantage of sound. ।। 3-6-17 ।।

english translation

जब विराट रूप के कान प्रकट हुए तो सभी दिशाओं के नियंत्रक देव श्रवण तत्त्वों समेत उनमें प्रविष्ट हो गये जिससे सारे जीव सुनते हैं और ध्वनि का लाभ उठाते हैं। ।। ३-६-१७ ।।

karNAvasya vinirbhinnau dhiSNyaM svaM vivizurdizaH | zrotreNAMzena zabdasya siddhiM yena prapadyate || 3-6-17 ||
