अथ तस्याभितप्तस्य कति चायतनानि ह । निरभिद्यन्त देवानां तानि मे गदतः शृणु ॥ ३-६-११ ॥
Maitreya said: You may now hear from me how the Supreme Lord separated Himself into the diverse forms of the demigods after the manifestation of the gigantic universal form. ॥ 3-6-11 ॥

मैत्रेय ने कहा : अब तुम मुझसे यह सुनो कि परमेश्वर ने अपना विराट रूप प्रकट करने के बाद किस तरह से अपने को देवताओं के विविध रूपों में विलग किया। ॥ ३-६-११ ॥

तस्याग्निरास्यं निर्भिन्नं लोकपालोऽविशत्पदम् । वाचा स्वांशेन वक्तव्यं ययासौ प्रतिपद्यते ॥ ३-६-१२ ॥
Agni, or heat, separated from His mouth, and all the directors of material affairs entered into it in their respective positions. By that energy the living entity expresses himself in words. ॥ 3-6-12 ॥

उनके मुख से अग्नि अथवा उष्मा विलग हो गई और भौतिक कार्य सँभालने वाले सारे निदेशक अपने-अपने पदों के अनुसार इस में प्रविष्ट हो गये। जीव उसी शक्ति से शब्दों के द्वारा अपने को अभि-व्यक्त करता है। ॥ ३-६-१२ ॥

निर्भिन्नं तालु वरुणो लोकपालोऽविशद्धरेः । जिह्वयांशेन च रसं ययासौ प्रतिपद्यते ॥ ३-६-१३ ॥
When the palate of the gigantic form was separately manifested, Varuṇa, the director of water in the planetary systems, entered therein, and thus the living entity has the facility to taste everything with his tongue. ॥ 3-6-13 ॥

जब विराट रूप का तालू पृथक् प्रकट हुआ तो लोकों में वायु का निदेशक वरुण उसमें प्रविष्ट हुआ जिससे जीव को अपनी जीभ से हर वस्तु का स्वाद लेने की सुविधा प्राप्त है। ॥ ३-६-१३ ॥

निर्भिन्ने अश्विनौ नासे विष्णोराविशतां पदम् । घ्राणेनांशेन गन्धस्य प्रतिपत्तिर्यतो भवेत् ॥ ३-६-१४ ॥
When the Lord’s two nostrils separately manifested themselves, the dual Aśvinī-kumāras entered them in their proper positions, and because of this the living entities can smell the aromas of everything. ॥ 3-6-14 ॥

जब भगवान् के दो नथुने पृथक् प्रकट हुए तो दोनों अश्विनीकुमार उनके भीतर अपने-अपने पदों पर प्रवेश कर गये। इसके फलस्वरूप जीव हर वस्तु की गन्ध सूँघ सकते हैं। ॥ ३-६-१४ ॥

निर्भिन्ने अक्षिणी त्वष्टा लोकपालोऽविशद्विभोः । चक्षुषांशेन रूपाणां प्रतिपत्तिर्यतो भवेत् ॥ ३-६-१५ ॥
Thereafter, the two eyes of the gigantic form of the Lord were separately manifested. The sun, the director of light, entered them with the partial representation of eyesight, and thus the living entities can have vision of forms. ॥ 3-6-15 ॥

तत्पश्चात् भगवान् के विराट रूप की दो आँखें पृथक् हो गईं। प्रकाश का निदेशक सूर्य दृष्टि के आंशिक प्रतिनिधित्व के साथ उनमें प्रविष्ट हुआ जिससे जीव रूपों को देख सकते हैं। ॥ ३-६-१५ ॥
