वेदाहमाद्यं पुरुषमवतीर्णं स्वमायया । भूतानां शेवधिं देहं बिभ्राणं कपिलं मुने ॥ ३-२४-१६ ॥
O Kardama, I know that the original Supreme Personality of Godhead has now appeared as an incarnation by His internal energy. He is the bestower of all that is desired by the living entities, and He has now assumed the body of Kapila Muni. ॥ 3-24-16 ॥

हे कर्दम मुनि, मुझे ज्ञात है कि अब आदि पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् अपनी अन्तरंगा शक्ति से अवतार रूप में प्रकट हुए हैं। वे जीवात्माओं के सभी मनोरथों को पूरा करने वाले हैं और उन्होंने अब कपिल मुनि का शरीर धारण किया है। ॥ ३-२४-१६ ॥

ज्ञानविज्ञानयोगेन कर्मणामुद्धरन् जटाः । हिरण्यकेशः पद्माक्षः पद्ममुद्रापदाम्बुजः ॥ ३-२४-१७ ॥
By mystic yoga and the practical application of knowledge from the scriptures, Kapila Muni, who is characterized by His golden hair, His eyes just like lotus petals and His lotus feet, which bear the marks of lotus flowers, will uproot the deep-rooted desire for work in this material world. ॥ 3-24-17 ॥
english translation
सुनहले बाल, कमल की पंखडिय़ों जैसे नेत्र तथा कमल के पुष्प से अंकित कमल के समान चरणोवाले कपिल मुनि अपने योग तथा शास्त्रीय ज्ञान के व्यवहार से इस भौतिक जगत में कर्म की इच्छा को समूल नष्ट कर देंगे। ॥ ३-२४-१७ ॥

एष मानवि ते गर्भं प्रविष्टः कैटभार्दनः । अविद्यासंशयग्रन्थिं छित्त्वा गां विचरिष्यति ॥ ३-२४-१८ ॥
Lord Brahmā then told Devahūti: My dear daughter of Manu, the same Supreme Personality of Godhead who killed the demon Kaiṭabha is now within your womb. He will cut off all the knots of your ignorance and doubt. Then He will travel all over the world. ॥ 3-24-18 ॥

तब ब्रह्माजी ने देवहूति से कहा : हे मनुपुत्री, जिन श्रीभगवान् ने कैटभ असुर का बध किया है, वे ही अब तुम्हारे गर्भ में आये हैं। वे तुम्हारे समस्त संशय तथा अज्ञान की गाँठ को नष्ट कर देंगे। तब वे सारे विश्व का भ्रमण करेंगे। ॥ ३-२४-१८ ॥

अयं सिद्धगणाधीशः साङ्ख्याचार्यैः सुसम्मतः । लोके कपिल इत्याख्यां गन्ता ते कीर्तिवर्धनः ॥ ३-२४-१९ ॥
Your son will be the head of all the perfected souls. He will be approved by the ācāryas expert in disseminating real knowledge, and among the people He will be celebrated by the name Kapila. As the son of Devahūti, He will increase your fame. ॥ 3-24-19 ॥

तुम्हारा पुत्र समस्त सिद्धगणों का अग्रणी होगा। वह वास्तविक ज्ञान का प्रसार करने में दक्ष आचार्यों द्वारा मान्य होगा और मनुष्यों में वह कपिल नाम से विख्यात होगा। देवहूति के पुत्र-रूप में वह तुम्हारे यश को बढ़ाएगा। ॥ ३-२४-१९ ॥

मैत्रेय उवाच तावाश्वास्य जगत्स्रष्टा कुमारैः सह नारदः । हंसो हंसेन यानेन त्रिधाम परमं ययौ ॥ ३-२४-२० ॥
Śrī Maitreya said: After thus speaking to Kardama Muni and his wife Devahūti, Lord Brahmā, the creator of the universe, who is also known as Haṁsa, went back to the highest of the three planetary systems on his swan carrier with the four Kumāras and Nārada. ॥ 3-24-20 ॥

श्रीमैत्रेय ने कहा—कर्दम मुनि तथा उनकी पत्नी देवहूति से इस प्रकार कह कर ब्रह्माण्ड के स्रष्टा ब्रह्माजी, जिन्हें हंस भी कहा जाता है, अपने वाहन हंस पर चढक़र चारों कुमारों तथा नारद सहित तीनों लोकों में से सर्वोच्च लोक को वापस चले गये। ॥ ३-२४-२० ॥
