अतस्त्वमृषिमुख्येभ्यो यथाशीलं यथारुचि । आत्मजाः परिदेह्यद्य विस्तृणीहि यशो भुवि ॥ ३-२४-१५ ॥

Therefore, today please give away your daughters to the foremost of the sages, with due regard for the girls’ temperaments and likings, and thereby spread your fame all over the universe. ॥ 3-24-15 ॥

english translation

अत: आज तुम इन पुत्रियों को उनके स्वभाव तथा उनकी रुचियों के अनुसार श्रेष्ठ मुनियों को प्रदान कर दो और इस प्रकार सारे ब्रह्माण्ड में अपना सुयश फैलाओ। ॥ ३-२४-१५ ॥
