तमेवान्वपिधीयन्ते लोका भूरादयस्त्रयः । निशायामनुवृत्तायां निर्मुक्तशशिभास्करम् ।। ३-११-२८ ।।

sanskrit

When the night of Brahmā ensues, all the three worlds are out of sight, and the sun and the moon are without glare, just as in the due course of an ordinary night. ।। 3-11-28 ।।

english translation

जब ब्रह्मा की रात शुरू होती है, तो तीनों लोक दृष्टिगोचर नहीं होते और सूर्य तथा चन्द्रमा तेज विहीन हो जाते हैं जिस तरह कि सामान्य रात के समय होता है। ।। ३-११-२८ ।।

tamevAnvapidhIyante lokA bhUrAdayastrayaH | nizAyAmanuvRttAyAM nirmuktazazibhAskaram || 3-11-28 ||
