सर्वे गुणमया भावाः पुरुषाव्यक्तधिष्ठिताः । दृष्टं श्रुतमनुध्यातं बुद्ध्या वा पुरुषर्षभ ॥ ११-२५-३१ ॥
O best of human beings, all states of material being are related to the interaction of the enjoying soul and material nature. Whether seen, heard of or only conceived within the mind, they are without exception constituted of the modes of nature. ॥ 11-25-31 ॥

हे मानवश्रेष्ठ, भौतिक सत्ता की सभी अवस्थाएँ आनंद लेने वाली आत्मा और भौतिक प्रकृति की परस्पर क्रिया से संबंधित हैं। चाहे देखा हो, सुना हो या केवल मन में कल्पना की गई हो, वे बिना किसी अपवाद के प्रकृति के गुणों से निर्मित हैं। ॥ ११-२५-३१ ॥

एताः संसृतयः पुंसो गुणकर्मनिबन्धनाः । येनेमे निर्जिताः सौम्य गुणा जीवेन चित्तजाः । भक्तियोगेन मन्निष्ठो मद्भावाय प्रपद्यते ॥ ११-२५-३२ ॥
O gentle Uddhava, all these different phases of conditioned life arise from work born of the modes of material nature. The living entity who conquers these modes, manifested from the mind, can dedicate himself to Me by the process of devotional service and thus attain pure love for Me. ॥ 11-25-32 ॥

हे सौम्य उद्धव, बद्ध जीवन के ये सभी विभिन्न चरण भौतिक प्रकृति के गुणों से उत्पन्न कर्म से उत्पन्न होते हैं। जो जीव मन से प्रकट इन गुणों पर विजय प्राप्त कर लेता है, वह भक्ति की प्रक्रिया द्वारा स्वयं को मेरे प्रति समर्पित कर सकता है और इस प्रकार मेरे प्रति शुद्ध प्रेम प्राप्त कर सकता है। ॥ ११-२५-३२ ॥

तस्माद्देहमिमं लब्ध्वा ज्ञानविज्ञानसम्भवम् । गुणसङ्गं विनिर्धूय मां भजन्तु विचक्षणाः ॥ ११-२५-३३ ॥
Therefore, having achieved this human form of life, which allows one to develop full knowledge, those who are intelligent should free themselves from all contamination of the modes of nature and engage exclusively in loving service to Me. ॥ 11-25-33 ॥

इसलिए, इस मानव जीवन को प्राप्त करने के बाद, जो व्यक्ति को पूर्ण ज्ञान विकसित करने की अनुमति देता है, जो बुद्धिमान हैं उन्हें खुद को प्रकृति के गुणों के सभी संदूषण से मुक्त करना चाहिए और विशेष रूप से मेरी प्रेमपूर्ण सेवा में संलग्न होना चाहिए। ॥ ११-२५-३३ ॥

निःसङ्गो मां भजेद्विद्वानप्रमत्तो जितेन्द्रियः । रजस्तमश्चाभिजयेत्सत्त्वसंसेवया मुनिः ॥ ११-२५-३४ ॥
A wise sage, free from all material association and unbewildered, should subdue his senses and worship Me. He should conquer the modes of passion and ignorance by engaging himself only with things in the mode of goodness. ॥ 11-25-34 ॥

एक बुद्धिमान ऋषि को, सभी भौतिक संगति से मुक्त और मोहरहित होकर, अपनी इंद्रियों को वश में करना चाहिए और मेरी पूजा करनी चाहिए। उसे स्वयं को केवल सतोगुणी वस्तुओं में संलग्न करके रजोगुण और तमोगुण पर विजय प्राप्त करनी चाहिए। ॥ ११-२५-३४ ॥

सत्त्वं चाभिजयेद्युक्तो नैरपेक्ष्येण शान्तधीः । सम्पद्यते गुणैर्मुक्तो जीवो जीवं विहाय माम् ॥ ११-२५-३५ ॥
Then, being fixed in devotional service, the sage should also conquer the material mode of goodness by indifference toward the modes. Thus pacified within his mind, the spirit soul, freed from the modes of nature, gives up the very cause of his conditioned life and attains Me. ॥ 11-25-35 ॥

फिर, भक्ति में स्थिर रहकर, ऋषि को गुणों के प्रति उदासीनता से भौतिक सतोगुण पर भी विजय प्राप्त करनी चाहिए। इस प्रकार अपने मन में शांत होकर, आत्मा, प्रकृति के गुणों से मुक्त होकर, अपने बद्ध जीवन के मूल कारण को त्याग देती है और मुझे प्राप्त कर लेती है। ॥ ११-२५-३५ ॥
