श्रीभगवानुवाच जितेन्द्रियस्य युक्तस्य जितश्वासस्य योगिनः । मयि धारयतश्चेत उपतिष्ठन्ति सिद्धयः ॥ ११-१५-१ ॥
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: My dear Uddhava, the mystic perfections of yoga are acquired by a yogī who has conquered his senses, steadied his mind, conquered the breathing process and fixed his mind on Me. ॥ 11-15-1 ॥

भगवान के परम व्यक्तित्व ने कहा: मेरे प्रिय उद्धव, योग की रहस्यमय सिद्धियाँ एक योगी द्वारा प्राप्त की जाती हैं जिसने अपनी इंद्रियों पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली है, अपने मन को स्थिर कर लिया है, श्वास प्रक्रिया पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली है और अपना मन मुझ पर केंद्रित कर लिया है। ॥ ११-१५-१ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptउद्धव उवाच कया धारणया का स्वित्कथं वा सिद्धिरच्युत । कति वा सिद्धयो ब्रूहि योगिनां सिद्धिदो भवान् ॥ ११-१५-२ ॥
Śrī Uddhava said: My dear Lord Acyuta, by what process can mystic perfection be achieved, and what is the nature of such perfection? How many mystic perfections are there? Please explain these things to me. Indeed, You are the bestower of all mystic perfections. ॥ 11-15-2 ॥

श्री उद्धव ने कहा: मेरे प्रिय भगवान अच्युत, किस प्रक्रिया से रहस्यमय पूर्णता प्राप्त की जा सकती है, और ऐसी पूर्णता की प्रकृति क्या है? कितनी रहस्यमय सिद्धियाँ हैं? कृपया मुझे ये बातें समझाइये। वास्तव में, आप सभी रहस्यमय सिद्धियों के दाता हैं। ॥ ११-१५-२ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptश्रीभगवानुवाच सिद्धयोऽष्टादश प्रोक्ता धारणायोगपारगैः । तासामष्टौ मत्प्रधाना दशैव गुणहेतवः ॥ ११-१५-३ ॥
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: The masters of the yoga system have declared that there are eighteen types of mystic perfection and meditation, of which eight are primary, having their shelter in Me, and ten are secondary, appearing from the material mode of goodness. ॥ 11-15-3 ॥

भगवान के परम व्यक्तित्व ने कहा: योग प्रणाली के गुरुओं ने घोषणा की है कि रहस्यमय पूर्णता और ध्यान के अठारह प्रकार हैं, जिनमें से आठ प्राथमिक हैं, जो मुझमें आश्रय रखते हैं, और दस गौण हैं, जो अच्छाई की भौतिक विधा से प्रकट होते हैं। ॥ ११-१५-३ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptअणिमा महिमा मूर्तेर्लघिमा प्राप्तिरिन्द्रियैः । प्राकाम्यं श्रुतदृष्टेषु शक्तिप्रेरणमीशिता ॥ ११-१५-४ ॥
Among the eight primary mystic perfections, the three by which one transforms one’s own body are aṇimā, becoming smaller than the smallest; mahimā, becoming greater than the greatest; and laghimā, becoming lighter than the lightest. Through the perfection of prāpti one acquires whatever one desires, and through prākāmya-siddhi one experiences any enjoyable object, either in this world or the next. ॥ 11-15-4 ॥

आठ प्राथमिक रहस्यमय सिद्धियों में से, तीन जिनके द्वारा व्यक्ति अपने शरीर को रूपांतरित करता है, अणिमा हैं, जो सबसे छोटे से भी छोटा हो जाता है; महिमा, महानतम से भी महान बनना; और लघिमा, सबसे हल्के से भी हल्का होता जा रहा है। प्राप्ति की पूर्णता के माध्यम से व्यक्ति जो कुछ भी चाहता है उसे प्राप्त कर लेता है, और प्राकाम्य-सिद्धि के माध्यम से व्यक्ति किसी भी सुखद वस्तु का अनुभव करता है, या तो इस दुनिया में या अगले में। ॥ ११-१५-४ ॥

aNimA mahimA mUrterlaghimA prAptirindriyaiH । prAkAmyaM zrutadRSTeSu zaktipreraNamIzitA ॥ 11-15-4 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगुणेष्वसङ्गो वशिता यत्कामस्तदवस्यति । एता मे सिद्धयः सौम्य अष्टावौत्पत्तिका मताः ॥ ११-१५-५ ॥
Through īśitā-siddhi one can manipulate the subpotencies of māyā, and through the controlling potency called vaśitā-siddhi one is unimpeded by the three modes of nature. One who has acquired kāmāvasāyitā-siddhi can obtain anything from anywhere, to the highest possible limit. My dear gentle Uddhava, these eight mystic perfections are considered to be naturally existing and unexcelled within this world. ॥ 11-15-5 ॥

ईशिता-सिद्धि के माध्यम से व्यक्ति माया की उपशक्तियों में हेरफेर कर सकता है, और वशिता-सिद्धि नामक नियंत्रण शक्ति के माध्यम से व्यक्ति प्रकृति के तीन गुणों से अबाधित रहता है। जिसने कामवासयित-सिद्धि प्राप्त कर ली है, वह उच्चतम संभव सीमा तक, कहीं से भी कुछ भी प्राप्त कर सकता है। मेरे प्रिय सौम्य उद्धव, ये आठ रहस्यमय सिद्धियाँ इस संसार में स्वाभाविक रूप से विद्यमान और अद्वितीय मानी जाती हैं। ॥ ११-१५-५ ॥
