ततो भक्तिर्भगवति पुत्रीभूते जनार्दने । दम्पत्योर्नितरामासीद्गोपगोपीषु भारत ।। १०-८-५१ ।।

sanskrit

Thereafter, O Mahārāja Parīkṣit, best of the Bhāratas, when the Supreme Personality of Godhead became the son of Nanda Mahārāja and Yaśodā, they maintained continuous, unswerving devotional love in parental affection. And in their association, all the other inhabitants of Vṛndāvana, the gopas and gopīs, developed the culture of kṛṣṇa-bhakti. ।। 10-8-51 ।।

english translation

हे भारत श्रेष्ठ महाराज परीक्षित, तत्पश्चात् जब भगवान् कृष्ण नन्द महाराज तथा यशोदा के पुत्र बने तो उन दोनों ने निरन्तर, अचल दिव्य वात्सल्य-प्रेम बनाये रखा तथा उनके सान्निध्य में वृन्दावन के अन्य सभी निवासी, गोप तथा गोपियों ने कृष्ण-भक्ति-संस्कृति का विकास किया। ।। १०-८-५१ ।।

tato bhaktirbhagavati putrIbhUte janArdane | dampatyornitarAmAsIdgopagopISu bhArata || 10-8-51 ||

कृष्णो ब्रह्मण आदेशं सत्यं कर्तुं व्रजे विभुः । सह रामो वसंश्चक्रे तेषां प्रीतिं स्वलीलया ।। १०-८-५२ ।।

Thus the Supreme Personality, Kṛṣṇa, along with Balarāma, lived in Vrajabhūmi, Vṛndāvana, just to substantiate the benediction of Brahmā. By exhibiting different pastimes in His childhood, He increased the transcendental pleasure of Nanda and the other inhabitants of Vṛndāvana. ।। 10-8-52 ।।

english translation

इस तरह ब्रह्मा के वर को सत्य करने के लिए भगवान् कृष्ण बलराम समेत व्रजभूमि वृन्दावन में रहे। उन्होंने विभिन्न बाल-लीलाएँ प्रदर्शित करते हुए नन्द तथा वृन्दावन के अन्य वासियों के दिव्य आनन्द को वर्धित किया। ।। १०-८-५२ ।।
